This is my second blog in which I share various vlog (video diary) entries that I recorded in November 2018 whilst studying at the Fitness & Business Academy before I was successfully assigned on a ship. I’m currently at sea travelling around the world on a 5 star Luxury cruise ship, as a Holistic Health Coach/Personal Trainer for the guests onboard.
From day one at the Academy in November 2018, I decided that I wanted to document my journey through videos and writing because I could feel in my spirit that this journey was something bigger and more meaningful than just a sequence of events. I decided that once again my story was somehow going to impact someone else out there, to motivate them that you can go through some stuff honey – oh you can…BUT you can rise through what others may see as “ashes” and make something out of those ashes – something that shines so bright like a star!

Please note that these are just me, raw, “Tee to the core” and many of them recorded super early in the morning LOL…so you know the deal with having a tired face, and no makeup etc!
There is no need for me to write much in this blog but for you to view and hopefully feel the emotions that I went through as I learnt and grew stronger with each day. And some days were horrible days, so you will see in the videos that I would just say I’m having a crappy day…but I’m so grateful to God that no matter what I’ve been through – I’ve been able to rise each time. His grace is more than sufficient!

DAY 5: Pilates Exam Palaver!
Day 7….Yoga exams; realising that perfectionism is not a goal; we’re all human and being kinder to yourself is key!
End of Week 2 of 3…Being a champion means falling and rising over and over again!
I was doing well, but the hustle was real LOL! I was close to giving up, but I had come too far in the process to give up. In the vlog I talk about the ship being my only option. The reason is because I had left my marriage months before and the events of what had happened in that marriage had shattered my confidence. I needed the ship journey to just get away and rediscover myself. I will vlog about this when I feel ready to share later on. Again, it didn’t take me long to rise – so there is an amazing positivity to this story (look at God work)!! Looking back, I think wow 9 months later – look where I am. I found my flow with my classes and seminars onboard, and love doing what I do onboard – whilst also inspiring the Fitness To A Tee online community around the world!
Practising for our Cycle exam at 10 pm after starting the day at 5am. I loved the group I was in, in the Academy. We kept each other going boom!
A snippet of some of the moves I would include in my short 15 minutes daily workouts below. I would always focus on a different body part each day, so as not to fatigue my body with all the studies and exercise I would do in my classes as I qualified to become a Pilates, Yoga, Cycle and Stretch & Release Coach.

Keep walking with me in my journey of Part 3 of the Academy where I rose up like a lioness; graduated and then left for my assigned ship and life onboard!! Eeeek – exciting!!
